Engaging Visual Storytelling to Drive App Adoption
Overview
To support the launch of the MyHQ Rewards app, we created a vibrant and engaging promotional video filmed at HomeHQ Artarmon. The goal was to showcase how shoppers could unlock real rewards through the app, bringing the app’s features to life through a fun and relatable visual story.
Creative Concept
The video follows two friends as they explore the shopping centre, discovering deals and redeeming rewards using the app. Featuring a range of participating stores, the promo blends real-life retail experiences with talent-led storytelling to communicate the benefits of the platform.
Approach to Production
Working within the centre’s operating hours, we planned the shoot with precision to capture each store naturally and authentically. Our team collaborated closely with retailers and talent to ensure smooth filming and a consistent look across the video. A polished edit, animated app screen overlays and branded elements helped tie the story together.
Result
The final video is now used to promote the app across digital channels, screens in-centre and online. It successfully captures the energy of the retail environment and clearly communicates how the MyHQ Rewards app enhances the customer experience, driving downloads and engagement.
