Overview
We were engaged to produce a series of short-form videos to help promote the Mary Poppins musical during its season in Adelaide. The videos were designed for social media and featured cast members performing in character across well-known Adelaide locations.
The campaign aimed to generate excitement and drive ticket sales through fun, high-energy content that celebrated the spirit of the show.
The Approach
Working alongside the show’s team and choreographer, we filmed several Instagram Reels featuring singing and dancing performances. Filming took place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and other prominent city landmarks, helping tie the production to the local audience.
Our approach focused on agility and collaboration, capturing performances that felt spontaneous while staying polished and on-brand.
The Challenge
Coordinating movement-heavy content in public spaces required strong communication and planning. With support from the cast, crew and creative team, we were able to move quickly and capture dynamic content that felt authentic and engaging.
Outcome
The final social videos were rolled out across platforms like Instagram and Facebook, building momentum around the Adelaide season. The playful and visually engaging content helped connect the show with audiences outside the theatre and contributed to the overall buzz of the production.
