Clear, Consistent Training for Statewide Assessment

Overview

We produced a series of training videos for the Marking Centre supporting NAPLAN assessments, in partnership with the Department for Education South Australia. These videos were created to provide clear, standardised instruction to markers involved in one of the country’s most important educational assessments.

Filming Approach

Filmed on location at the Marking Centre in Adelaide, the video series featured direct-to-camera delivery, clear graphics, and structured walkthroughs to guide new and returning markers through the marking process. Our focus was on making the content easy to follow, visually consistent, and professionally presented — all while meeting strict confidentiality and compliance requirements.

Outcome

The final training series now plays a key role in preparing South Australian markers to accurately and confidently assess NAPLAN submissions. By combining thoughtful scripting with straightforward visuals, the videos help ensure consistency and quality across the board.
