Showcasing Safe Electrical Practices on Live Railway Corridors
Overview
We were engaged to produce a training and safety video for ARTC (Australian Rail Track Corporation), filmed on-site along active railway corridors in South Australia. The video combined a sit-down interview focused on safety culture with a practical demonstration showing how to correctly and safely work with electrical equipment in a rail environment.
Filming Approach
Filming in high-risk areas like live railway lines requires more than just a camera, it demands serious planning and compliance. Our crew followed strict safety protocols and coordinated with ARTC’s on-site teams to ensure filming could be completed efficiently without compromising any procedures.
We used a lean setup to remain agile on location while capturing clean visuals and professional audio under real-world conditions. The combination of interview footage and demonstration video helped bring clarity and relatability to the training message.
Outcome
The finished training video is now part of ARTC’s internal safety communications, helping educate workers on correct practices when working with electricity. It’s an example of how corporate training videos can be both informative and engaging when filmed professionally on-site.
